ZKD-D34 is a connection hood manufactured by TWK Elektronik for KRD and TRD series encoders (version “Z”). It protects electrical connections, organizes cable entries, and ensures EMC compliance.

Compatible Encoders: KRD / TRD series (Version “Z”)

Operating Temperature: -40 °C … +85 °C

Connections:

Terminal 1: Supply voltage (UB = 13.5 … 30 VDC, PD ≤ 3.5 W, Inrush current < 300 mA)
Terminal 2: Data lines (BUS1 and BUS2 RXD/TXD connections)

Connector: D-Sub, 15-pin socket

DIP Switches:

Address setting: 1–126 (Default: 123)
DIP 9/10: Terminating resistors (ON: connected, OFF: not connected)

Status LEDs: Indicate operating voltage, data transfer, and errors

Cable Entries: EMC-compliant glands
