    The BECKHOFF EL6900 is a TwinSAFE Logic safety controller designed for safety-oriented applications based on Boolean values. Certified function blocks allow processing of safe input signals and generation of safe output signals. It supports simple logic functions like AND and OR as well as complex muting functions. The EL6900 communicates via FSoE (Safety over EtherCAT) with up to 128 safe devices. Programming is done using TwinCAT 3 Safety Editor or TwinCAT 2. Backup and restore functionality simplifies controller replacement during service.
