The BK3120 is an Economy Plus PROFIBUS-DP bus coupler from Beckhoff. It supports K-Bus extension technology, allowing up to 255 distributed Bus Terminals to be connected. PROFIBUS DP V1 services enable direct access to coupler registers and analog terminals for parameter adjustments. FMS protocol is omitted to allow more user data transfer in DP mode (128 bytes input, 128 bytes output). Automatic baud rate detection up to 12 Mbaud ensures high-speed communication. The compact design, DIN rail mounting, and IP20 protection make it ideal for industrial environments
