This PROFINET-Modbus RTU/ASCII gateway acts as a bridge between PROFINET Masters and Modbus RTU/ASCII Slaves. It functions as an IO device (slave) on PROFINET side while operating as a Master on Modbus side, collecting data from Modbus devices. Module enables transparent data exchange between different protocols, allowing easy integration of existing Modbus devices into PROFINET-based control systems.
