The AL2200-0001 is part of Beckhoff’s Magnetic Encoder System (MES). It uses the magnetic field of permanent magnets on the magnetic plate as a measuring standard. Built-in electronics provide incremental signals for commutation and speed/position control.

Output signal: 1 Vpp, sine-cosine

Signal period: 24 mm pole pitch

Accuracy: < 100 µm

Repeatability: < 50 µm

Resolution: 5–10 µm

Power supply: 5 VDC

Connection: 17-pin M23 connector, 0.5 m cable
